Dear CUNY CSA  Members: LEEBA is ready to welcome you to our team. Thanks to the Janus Decision dated June 27, 2018 which stated: “States and public-sector unions may no longer extract agency fees from non-consenting employees.  The First Amendment is violated when money is taken from non-consenting employees for a public-sector union; employees must choose to support the union before anything is taken from them.  Accordingly, neither an agency fee nor any other form of payment too a public-sector union may be deducted from an employee, nor may any other attempt be made to collect such a payment, unless the employee affirmatively consents to pay.” By deciding to decertify you are invoking your consent not to pay Local 237 or stay with Local 237.  Your time has come!  Thanks to the Janus Decision you are now free to determine your own path.   Please click on the LEEBA Online Forms button at the top of this page, and complete an online authorization form to give yourself a choice at election time. Regards, Kenneth Wynder, LEEBA President
